DIY Project Follow Up

Good Morning!

Last week was very busy and I completely missed Five on Friday. I had a busy weekend that included my family surprising my Aunt for her sixtieth birthday after she landed from skydiving, a family lunch, then a family cookout. On Sunday was our usual around the house work and running to the store. I had every intention of doing some wedding planning, finding a new book to read, and searching the web for some home décor; non of that happened! It was a busy weekend, but I had a blast seeing my family and spending Sunday with Ryan. I did, however, manage to fit in a DIY project that I posted about a few weeks ago. You can find that post here.

I went to the Dollar Tree to find bins, but they were not big enough, so I ended up finding them at Wal-Mart. I also grabbed a can of metallic spray paint. They turned out better than I had planned!

Thanks for reading and feel free to say hello!

Five on Friday Link Up

                 It's Friday Y'all!

I am off to WV as I type, so my five is going to be quick and to the point...

1.

While in WV we are trap shooting, so what better way to shoot my benelli nova 12 gage than with pink shells.

2.
I am a coffeeholic and this is by far my favorite creamer, southern butter pecan!

3.

So happy my Hobby Lobby "laundry" sign is finally up!

4.

  It is so exciting to see that people from all over are reading my blog. These are the countries:

United States

Russia

Australia

Ukraine

Canada

Thank you to everyone who has taken interest in my blog!

5.
I am surprised I do not have any pictures on my phone of all the amazing people going to WV, but I am super excited to be spending a weekend with Ryan and our friends!

Breakfast Time!!!!

Morning Y'all!

I am a morning person, mainly because of the smell of a fresh pot of brewed coffee, the delicious breakfast foods, and starting the day as the sun rises. So, back to the breakfast food; my mom got me hooked on these amazing Thomas' French Toast Limited Edition (of course the kind I love are limited). I was going to put this on the Five on Friday Link Up, but I couldn't wait to share with all who read my blog.

{I was experiencing difficulty with my phone, as well as my
computer with adding a picture I took this morning, which is why I had to take this from the internet.}

If you are a breakfast lover like I am, you will really enjoy these!

DIY {Wedding}

Good Morning!

I am so excited it is only a four day work week for me! On Friday Ryan, myself, and a group of friends leave for a weekend in West Virginia.

Now to the wedding talk, I came across this great idea for my wedding that I just had to share. Our wedding is country, rustic theme and I have been looking everywhere for the tin tubs for drinks, but nothing was in my price range. So....while on my daily dose of Pinterest I found this DIY tin tub project that is inexpensive. You take dollar store plastic tubs, metallic spray paint and make your own! I am hoping to make a stop at the Dollar Tree on the way home to pick up some plastic tubs. Since our wedding is not for some time, I am going to try to get a few done for our family party in a few weeks.

Stay tuned to see how my finished product turns out!

Take plastic bins from the dollar store and upgrade them using metallic spray paint to give them a "tin" finish. Perhaps this would be a great thing for favors or other such things.
{You can find it here on my Pinterest}
